Dèja Vu

The lover from a distant past...
he sat next to me and my heart
rejoiced...I dared not look at what
he was doing...but I was curious...
he opened small packages
coins...they were silver coins
collectible ones...the boxes
were suede
they were blue
I wrestled with the thought of
remaining still on my seat...
the merry one he selected to
be near me...
I glanced pretending to look
at the mother board as someone
called the Skyline before...
he knew it was he I wanted to look
at, but I wore the mask which concealed
my interest.
Pounding my mechanical heart
began...pounding away a distinct
melody which lacked the rhythm of
yesteryear
Nobody makes me feel
pleasure nor I seek it
He knew I was interested
but I looked the other way
How can I repeat this day
if I was not even suppose to be
there...
that time was not the usual
how then can i yearn to see
him again?
